I have always been involved with hobbies and activities that either have a "purest" aspect, demand attention to detail, or are equipment intensive. Consequently, I enjoy fly fishing, restoring classic cars, SCUBA diving, distance backpacking, and competitive mountain bike racing. My more intellectual pursuits include teaching mathematics, wine collecting, and improving my culinary skills.
